Irene Braun

~Award Winning Oil and Acrylic Artist

Biography

Irene is an outstanding oil and acrylic painter, whose grasp of depth, balance and grandeur are truly remarkable. Her views of majestic mountain peaks, deep ravines, valleys and occasional wildlife blend with realism of the scene with the artistic impression and presentation so rarely seen in art today.

Irene began her career in art at the early age of sixteen and continues to research and study with Nationally known instructors, Ray Vinella, Mel Fillerup, Matt Smith, Chuck Mardosz, Sparky LeBold, Joe Bohler, and Bob Wygant. Irene loves to paint landscapes, wildlife and still-life.

Mayor Robert Issac of Colorado Springs presented her work to the Conference of Mayors in Fujiyoshida, Japan. Also her originals are in galleries and private collections across the United States and Canada.

The A.G.W. Corporation has commissioned Irene for the cover art of Colorado State and Arizona State topographical maps produced for sportsmen.
